Soccer Practice!!

Hey Friends and Family! We're going to take a break from the Pirate postings to talk about... Me!!

I had my last soccer practice tonight... Look!




We dribbled through the cones! Sh-Sh couldn't believe how much we've improved over the last 6 weeks! She said that the Los Angeles Galaxy may try to recruit us!




We took water breaks but then we had to get right back out there!



We have the greatest coach! He let's all of us play!




Look at my team! (you may want to click this picture and make it bigger.) Lukey was a little concerned about being with so many girls but he handled it well!




I'm exhausted! But I'll be better for game time on Sat at 0800!!

My Sword Fight on the Pirate Ship

Hey Friends! Pirate Lukey here and you are in for a treat today! See the picture at the top? Pay special attention to the Pirate on the left cause in the following pictures?

I swashbuckle him.

See? Here we are just getting started. Now, and this is very important, in a sword fight you always want to move the captives out of the way. I had to ask for a time-out to explain to Sissy that she needed to go sit with Momo and Aunt Natty where it was safe.

(And no, time-outs aren't the norm in a sword fight but the Pirates understood that Sissy's a princess and she's worth more alive.)

I'm a professional, people. See how I block his move by bringing my sword over my head?

Lady! You have to move back! I can't concentrate when I know you're in danger!

Don't worry, friends, it all turned out ok. Everyone was safe and I fought so well that the Pirates invited me to be part of their crew.

Of course I had to turn them down. I have to get my education to have something to fall back on in case pirating is obsolete by the time I grow up.

Always have a plan, friends!

BLACKBEARD... on the Pirate Ship!

See?!! I told you that he was real!! It's Blackbeard, friends! And I got to meet him! He was very impressed with my pirate knowledge, my pirate t-shirt, my pirate hat, my pirate sword...

All this time, I knew I'd be ready for the moment when I met a real pirate!

I showed you the cannon yesterday but completely forgot the cannon balls.

There were plenty. And because I'm so big and strong? I stacked em up. :-)

And of course, I wouldn't leave you all without a picture of me and Sissy in our pirate hats.

A REAL PIRATE SHIP!!

Ahoy, Mateys! My smile should say it all but here's what happened...

When Mommy, TK and I went to Florida with Momo and Aunt Natty...

WE WENT TO A REAL PIRATE SHIP!!

Since you all know how much I love pirates... and ships... and swords... and swashbuckling...

You must understand how excited I was!

I'll be sharing pictures over the next few days but first, look at how cool our face painting was!

It won't be long til I have a real mustache, just like this!

And Sissy? She went with a mermaid... shocking, right? Just kiddin!

Mermaids... princesses... Not as cool as pirates but she seems to like them.

Sh-Sh was visiting us this weekend and took videos of us talking about the Armor of God that the Bible talks about in Ephesians 6. Daddy and Mommy taught this to us and we wanted to share them with you.

My Sissy, The Soccer Star

Hey Friends and Family! Luke here and I'd like to take this opportunity (Sissy's outside practicing) to tell and show you how AWESOME my sister is. Really, she's awesome at everything but especially her new passion, soccer. She's fast, she dribbles the ball, she's fast... and she's pretty cute in her soccer outfit!

First Day of School 2010!

We love the first day of school! We had a great summer but it's time to learn important things!

Mommy makes our picture each year sitting in front of the fireplace. That way we can see how much we grow each year, right?
