Summer Show Offs

So every summer I get to go to a camp called Summer Show Offs and IT'S AWESOME!! 

 

I come by my talent honestly.  Ha!  My Mom was in Auburn singers when she was in college and this is sort of like that.  I LOVE IT!!

 

My family comes to the performance on the last day, Friday, at lunch time and they bring me things to congratulate me. :-)

 

This is not the best picture but you can see my whole group.  We'll try to post a better one from Mom's camera later.

I can't wait for next year!

Let's play some HORSE!

So TK and I decided to play HORSE at Grandmother and Granddad's house...  We didn't realize that we were both taking the game so seriously until Sh-Sh showed us these pictures later!

 

Here we are getting ready.  Me dribbling and TK practicing her best defensive stance.

 

She got tired of me dribbling and said, "LUKE!" but I'm explaining to her the importance of warming up!

Then she got tired of me dribbling and decided to make a play for the ball.  But see my moves?

I scored!  But Sh-Sh didn't get the shot.  What?!! 

But yes, TK got the ball back and scored too.  I tried to block her but it was a masterful shot, friends!

Can you tell we had so much fun?!  No comment on winner.  :-)

TK's Hair Cut!!

Our girl got a summer cut and donated her 10" ponytail to Locks of Love!  We're so proud of her!!

Bouncy House!!!

Luke:  Sh-Sh, guess what?  We get the bouncy house all to ourselves until my friends get here!

Sh-Sh:  Really? Should we just bounce?

Luke:  No!  We should run!

Luke:  Don't worry!  If you fall down, it doesn't hurt at all!

Luke:  You just get up and run some more!  And you know what?  You have to YELL while you are running!

Luke:  Yay!  My friends are arriving!  Hey guys, c'mon!  Get in the bouncy house!

Luke:  Hahahaha!  Gotcha, my friend Tej!
Tej:  Um, Luke?  I thought we were supposed to bounce?

 

 

Luke:  We are but isn't it fun to fall down too?  This is so much fun!!

 

 

Happy 6th Birthday to Luke!!

We just can't believe that our Luke is 6 years old!!  Where did the time go? 

He's such a cool kid - funny, smart, cute... I mean fierce!  :-)

 

He had a GREAT party with cool Ninja Turtle stuff and a Bouncy House!

His friends from school came to jump with him!

 

Even Dad, Mom and TK got in on the fun!

Sh-Sh took lots of pictures so she'll finally do lots of blog postings this week!!  Promise!

 

Happy Birthday, Luke!!

Happy Easter 2013!!

We hope you all had a very Happy Easter celebrating Jesus' resurrection! 

Luke and his Sword/Light Saber!

Not all weddings have 2 people carrying swords, right?  Ours did!  Uncle Jim carried his Naval Officer's sword and I carried my light saber/sword! 

 

Before the wedding, Uncle Jim and I had to have a sword picture right?  Don't worry, we were only staging the picture.  We wouldn't have fought for real in the church!

 

 

I kept it in the sheath at first... especially coming down the aisle.  I didn't want to accidently hurt anyone!

 

Even while I was getting into position as a groomsman!

But at the end of the ceremony?  When Sh-Sh gave me the thumbs up?  I put on a sword show! 

People clapped and cheered! It was awesome!

Sh-Sh and "Uncle" Jim's Wedding!

Friends, our Sh-Sh owes you an apology!  How, we ask you HOW, could she have not posted pics from her wedding in December?  It's inconceivable that you are just now seeing pictures!

She has promised us that she'll work on several posts over the upcoming days so you can see me and Luke on what was a very fun night!
