Friends, I have some shocking news... we've been going to the lake a little bit this summer! What? Do we like going to the lake? Um... yes, we do!

Luke's Lake Fun!

I LOVE THE LAKE!!

I love jumping off of the dock into the water!


I love it when my Daddy throws me up in the air and I fall in the water!

I don't love it when my shorts come down as he throws me up in the air.

I love fishing with my Granddad!

I love fishing with my Scooby Doo fishing pole!

AND I LOVE IT WHEN I CATCH A FISH!! (See the fish in front of Daddy's leg?)

And I love it when my sissy gives me a congratulations hug after I catch a fish!

Did I mention that I love going to the lake? Happy Summer!

My Wedding!

I have exciting news to share with all of my family and friends! I got married during our Lake Party weekend! (It was, of course, the best time since our families were already together!)

Thomas: Oh, ok, I guess I do.

TK: Of course, you do! We're made for each other and our families already get along so well. Don't I look pretty in my veil... and my Belle pajamas?

Thomas: You are the most beautiful Princess Bride!

Luke: I wore my best tux! C'mon, Addie, it's time to dance!

Addie: I hope they play "At Last" for their first dance. (Cause you know, they are 4 yrs. old)

Thomas: Um... I'm supposed to lead.

TK: (singing) Celebrate Good Times, C'mon!

TK: We've arrived at the Four Seasons Maui (aka Grandmother and Granddaddy's driveway) and are headed for the pool.

Thomas: Glad we brought our hats. Please tell me you remembered the 100 spf sunscreen.

TK: Of course, I did, silly. That's one of the reasons you married me.

TK: This was at the steak house at our first married dinner.

Thomas: Steak was yummy!

Thomas: Aloha from the Luau!

TK: We can't wait to celebrate our first anniversary. We're coming back to Hawaii again, right honey?

Thomas: Yes, my bride!

Lake Party!!

So last weekend? We had a LAKE PARTY!! Our friends from church came with us to Grandmother and Granddaddy's house and we... let's just say that it was a weekend to remember!

We had so much fun that I think I'll have to do at least 4 or 5 blog posts about it - we don't want to overwhelm you with all the excitement!

I know you'll agree that one of God's greatest blessings to us is spending time with family and friends!

God's Gifts

Father God, thank you for all of your many blessings, especially for these 2 precious gifts.

The recital gift that keeps on giving!

Not only did I get my pretty yellow recital outfit - my recital present was ANOTHER pretty outfit.

AND BITTY BABY GOT A MATCHING ONE!!

Thursday was a little overwhelming, folks. I needed the weekend to relax... in my ballet outfits, of course!

TK's First Ballet Recital!!!

We had a very exciting day, friends! It was my first ballet recital and you know what? I HAD SO MUCH FUN! We liked dancing for our family and to praise God! You should have heard all the great praise music.

I was a little disappointed a few weeks ago when we got our costumes and mine was yellow instead of pink but it worked out just fine. My family told me that I looked like a pretty flower!

Did you know if you hold your mouth just right, dancing is a little easier? (Just ask my Dad about his overbite when he dances. Ha Ha!)

You would think that Luke's favorite present would be a new sword, or anything pirate, right? No, No, he carried Woody and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger (because you have to say Buzz's entire name!) around ALL day!!

I can't believe my baby brother is already 3!!!

We're going to pretend that the date on this posting is Feb 19th, the day after our Pa's birthday, and we're sharing pictures with all of you! :-)
