A REAL PIRATE SHIP!!

Ahoy, Mateys! My smile should say it all but here's what happened...

When Mommy, TK and I went to Florida with Momo and Aunt Natty...

WE WENT TO A REAL PIRATE SHIP!!

Since you all know how much I love pirates... and ships... and swords... and swashbuckling...

You must understand how excited I was!

I'll be sharing pictures over the next few days but first, look at how cool our face painting was!

It won't be long til I have a real mustache, just like this!

And Sissy? She went with a mermaid... shocking, right? Just kiddin!

Mermaids... princesses... Not as cool as pirates but she seems to like them.

TK and Luke talking about the Armor of God

Hey family and friends!


Sh-Sh was visiting us this weekend and took videos of us talking about the Armor of God that the Bible talks about in Ephesians 6. Daddy and Mommy taught this to us and we wanted to share them with you.

My Sissy, The Soccer Star

Hey Friends and Family! Luke here and I'd like to take this opportunity (Sissy's outside practicing) to tell and show you how AWESOME my sister is. Really, she's awesome at everything but especially her new passion, soccer. She's fast, she dribbles the ball, she's fast... and she's pretty cute in her soccer outfit!

And at the end of practice, she even rests like a soccer star!

First Day of School 2010!

We love the first day of school! We had a great summer but it's time to learn important things!

Mommy makes our picture each year sitting in front of the fireplace. That way we can see how much we grow each year, right?

The Treasure Hunt with Princess Amelia! (Final Beach Posting)

We got to go on a real treasure hunt while we were at the beach!! Princess Amelia at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island was our guide and she was so pretty and had a real parrot - see? (We were mesmerized!)

So the treasure hunt started on one side of the hotel

and Princess Amelia gave us our first clue -

And off we went to the other side of the hotel to look for the treasure!

When we got to the other side, we found another clue...

and then we walked back to the other side of the hotel.

Yes, the side we had just come from which caused Luke to ask,

"Why do we keep going back and forth and back and forth?".

That's my brother!

We finally found the treasure and Princess Amelia opened

it for us to all share in the loot!

We even got to do a Pirates Toast with pink lemonade.

That Ritz sure does know how to show kids a good time!

Lukey and I are thinking of going back again...

We may even take the family with us!

Beach Trip 2010 from Luke's Perspective (Part 4)

Does my smile say it all? I love the beach! Every part of the beach - the sand, the water, my cool swimsuit, my glasses, my shovel... so much fun!




And the pool! At the beach, there's a pool! If you get tired of the sand, you can just wash off and head off to the pool... amazing!



You're not supposed to drink the pool water? Ok, I'll just put it in my mouth and then spit it at sissy. Is that Ok? It's not? Ok, I'll stop.

Granddad gave me a ride around the pool!

And there's nothing like a nice cool sip of Ritz ice water to quench a boy's thirst from being in the salt and pool water!

One more beach posting should finish us up, aren't you all excited to see more? Ha Ha!

Our Granddad, The Birthday Boy!

Happy Birthday Granddad!!!

We all went to Macon today to celebrate his birth. See? A candle in his blueberry cobbler that Mommy made!

And of course, we helped him blow out the candles!

And then I helped him open all of his gifts! I'm the best unwrapper in the family.

We took a birthday time out to pose with Sh-Sh for a picture. (The look on my face says "There are more birthday activities people. Let's go!")

(See the bandage on Lukey's forehead? We'll explain in an upcoming posting but the important part is HE IS OK! Praise the Lord!)

And then I posed, I mean the Masked Princess posed with the Birthday Boy!

TK at the Beach! (Yep, Part 3)

Hello Family and Friends! I've missed you while I've been traveling! To the lake, to the beach, I'm a road warrior!

We took so many pictures at the beach that Lukey and I get our own posts! Guess what I collected at the beach???

SHELLS, SEE?


And I built gigantic sand castles...

SEE? Isn't it an architectural wonder? (Sh-Sh says it is.)

I think Sh-Sh mentioned that Luke buried me in the sand, right? It doesn't sound fun but it is!

And of course, there was dancing!! I danced by the pool for hours! Ballerina twirl -

Beach Trip, TK & Luke with Mommy & Daddy! (Part 2)

Quality.Family.Time.

It's so important... especially when it happens at the water's edge!

And just when we were getting to the important girl stuff? You guessed it, Luke came back to talk about boy stuff.

Can I share a big secret? They are really good parents.

BEACH TRIP 2010! (Part 1)

It's not often that I, Sh Sh, take over the blog to narrate myself but I really needed to do the first posting about our family trip to the beach. It was the first time TK and Luke had seen the ocean... and they loved it!

They played and posed and played and posed.

Luke buried TK and then TK chased Luke.

They played in the kiddie pool -

Luke dumped water on TK's head and then TK gave him an "I forgive you hug".

And they posed for a beach picture together... but by then Luke was exhausted from all the playing and posing!

These children are certainly blessings to our family and we thank God for them!
